"Hi, I’m Alia! I’m a Biomedical Engineer currently pursuing my PhD in Computational Neuroscience with a focus on psychiatry and sensory processing. Originally from Puerto Rico, I bring both a scientific and artistic perspective into everything I do.

I’m also an artist and have modelled on and off since I was 16, and have had the opportunity to collaborate with brands like Adidas, Nike, REI Co-op, and Nordstrom on both fashion and commercial projects. I speak multiple languages, including Spanish, English, French, German, and Asante Twi, which allows me to connect with a wide range of people and environments.

I’m naturally curious, detail-oriented, and love being part of collaborative spaces where ideas come to life. Whether I’m in the lab or on set, I bring positive energy, professionalism, and a strong creative eye. In my free time, I play the violin and theremin or am out taking a walk with my Borzoi, Donatella."
